Peter finished up his BYU application and finally hit the submit button the day it was due. That was a huge relief for both him and for me. | Mike made me a wonderful French toast breakfast in bed while I was still recovering from being sick. It was so thoughtful. | It has been nerve wracking to watch the election unfold. It’s so frustrating when two candidates who are both wrong for our country are the ones running for president. | Madeline has loved putting on her own makeup with her pretend makeup kit. I often find her little bag in the bathroom so she can look in the mirror when she does it. She cracks me up! | Emma finally got her braces off after 2 years of wearing them. She was so relieved and excited for straight teeth and life after braces. | Madeline loves to visit Mike at work. It is one of her favorite things to do when she is not in school. She often asks him for a treat, and he usually pulls one out of his treat drawer for her. | Madeline loves preschool and enjoyed a visit from the Firemen one day, making feathered hats for Thanksgiving, and frog headbands. | Mike’s beard has grown in rather thick, and he is especially proud of it. I find him taking lots of photos of himself with his beard! | Mike and Emma made sushi and pizzamans one night. Everything turned out so well and tasted delicious. I don’t think they will make sushi again since it was pretty difficult to get them to stay together. | One of my favorite things is listening to Peter play the piano. I could listen to him play all day long. He has gotten so good this year. | Mike and I snuck away to Denver for a weekend getaway. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton, scootered around the city, and then went for a bike ride the next day. We really lucked out with great weather. | Madeline has loved watching Emma play Animal crossing on the Nintendo Switch. We told her she could get her own account when she is a little bit older. | Mike and I finally got a new bedroom set and we love it so much. It’s also the first time we bought a TV for our bedroom. | We installed new fancy light fixtures in our dining room and entryway. It’s nice to have little upgrades in our house. | Madeline just loves her little animal figurines. I find her playing all over the house with her various animals. | It is a sweet moment when I see my girls loving on each other. Abby just has a soft spot for Madeline. | Mike and the kids finally finished the Hostess puzzle. It looked yummy enough to eat.
