First Day of School - 2015

2ND GRADE

​My day was awesome.  I got Mrs. Taylor this year for second grade.  When we got in our classroom we sat down at our desks.  We have our own desks this year.  I get to sit next to Spencer Gillespie.  We got to have fake money to buy our school supplies in the classroom.  I got a dime back.  This year I only have 2 recesses.  There are these potato head guys and every day if we earn a compliment from one of the teachers in the school we get a body part.  When we complete the potato head then we get an extra recess.  My best friend McKenzie is in my class this year. There is a new girl named Noelle who is in my class and she just moved close to my house.  We have a hamster in our classroom and we voted on a name for the hamster.  We choose fluffy for the hamster’s name.

4TH GRADE

​My day was fabulous.  I have Mrs. Voget this year.  She is the best teacher in 4thgrade.  I sit next to Jasmine Watson who is one of my friends.  My friend Keely and Ava Seaquist are in my class this year but my other friend Ava is not. Our teacher has a pet hamster named Dexter. He is black and white.  We do a thing called Lit. Circles and we read a chapter of the book every week. I started to read Alice in Wonderland in class today.

7TH GRADE - TEAM 713
​CHALLENGER MS

My day was pretty good. The only bad part was that I got the lockers near all of the electives, again. I went around getting to know all of my teachers. A lot of kids said that Mrs. Oltrogge was a bad teacher, but I actually liked her. Mr. Nord was a fun guy. He was pretty funny and I am pretty excited for his class. Ms. Fox wasn’t what I expected her to be. She is pretty funny and looks like a good math teacher. This looks to be a promising year. I hope to have a lot of fun.

I'm gonna be real here, I have very little recollection about my freshman year. By now I just think of it as the dark ages of schooling (besides middle school in it's entirety). Imagine the most blond, immature, hyper little boy and put him in a high school setting. That was me, I was alway hyper and could not control my thoughts. I was always distracted and couldn't get my work done on time. Freshman year was a good introduction to high school and helped me learn that I needed to get my act together. By now I can just look back on those days and awkwardly laugh to myself (written after Freshman year was over).
