While on an Anniversary Trip with my husband in Aspen, CO we were able to spend some time hiking.  We drove up Maroon Creek Road and got on the trail headed towards Crater Lake.  The Maroon-Snowmass trail climbed through aspens to the lake.  The views we saw were amazing.  

It took me a while after moving to Colorado to get back into the photography side of things.  I knew this morning would be a great photo opportunity with all the fresh snow that had fallen the night before.  I decided to venture over to Garden of the Gods quite early to snap some photos of this beautiful place in the snow.  There is something so spectacular about the Red Rock here in Colorado Springs.  The snow just accentuated its beauty.
